Seeds That Grow

Trust Prayer

God our Father, let our individual paths converge as one, united in faith. Help us to grow together in your love and care, and to follow the example of your Son, Jesus Christ, in our daily work and lives. Filled with the grace of the Holy Spirit, and through the intercession of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, instil in us the little ways of doing ordinary things through extraordinary love. When stones of doubt are cast upon us in burden, like a little flower rekindle our faith as children of God, filling our hearts with hope and love. Together, may we plant the seeds that one day will grow, knowing they hold future promise, enabling us to become all we are called to be. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen. Saint Thérèse of Lisieux: Pray for us.

St Mary’s, Grantham says Goodbye to Father Chris.

The whole school gathered on the playground (Socially distanced in our bubbles) to say farewell to Father Chris. We wanted to ensure Fr Chris would remember us when he moved to his new parish. We therefore presented him with a Stole that had been handmade by a staff member, crosses hand embroidered by another and every child in the school had put their fingerprint on it to look like little flowers. Our school crest was painted on the collar of The Stole along with the date; definitely a year to remember! Father Chris then blessed his stole and gave us all a blessing wearing it before he left. We wish Father Chris well in his new parish and we are looking forward to welcoming Fr Kevin Gradwell.

“This is the best gift I have ever received.”
