Seeds That Grow

Trust Prayer

God our Father, let our individual paths converge as one, united in faith. Help us to grow together in your love and care, and to follow the example of your Son, Jesus Christ, in our daily work and lives. Filled with the grace of the Holy Spirit, and through the intercession of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, instil in us the little ways of doing ordinary things through extraordinary love. When stones of doubt are cast upon us in burden, like a little flower rekindle our faith as children of God, filling our hearts with hope and love. Together, may we plant the seeds that one day will grow, knowing they hold future promise, enabling us to become all we are called to be. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen. Saint Thérèse of Lisieux: Pray for us.

News from Saint Mary’s, Boston

Saint Mary’s RC Primary Academy in Boston have been exploring new ways to come together this term. We are incredibly proud of our Year 6 liturgy team members who have adapted quickly to delivering our Gospel based Collective Worship each Monday via Microsoft Teams, so that all of our classes can watch and participate from within their own class bubbles. We have newly appointed liturgy team members in Years 4 and 5 too, and even some of our Year 3’s have had a go at leading a whole school liturgy via Teams.
In addition, we are busy at the moment thinking about how we can help our local and global communities during this Harvest season as well as in the run up to Christmas. We are currently excitedly planning our Harvest Festival as well as a sponsored staff ‘bike ride’ (on an exercise bike) from our school in Boston to the Catholic Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. With the tremendous support already shown by our staff team, we think we’ll go for the return journey too, all of which will total about 100 miles!
